The woodsy atmosphere contrasts with the contemporary design of fencing, steps and the pond at the back of this communal oasis. The garden is maintained year round by a gardener.

Sustainability beyond the norm

Elion Park is very sustainable and future-oriented development, the developer and architect have the highest achievable goal, so the apartments amply meet the current and expected standards.

Elion Park is ahead of the BENG standard (Nearly Energy Neutral Building) which from 1 January 2021 as a requirement for all permit applications. These energy efficient qualities start with the high insulation values of the building envelope, entirely in accordance with the building regulations for new buildings. Elion Park will of course be gasless.

The project has a closed ground source with a separate heat pump for each house located in the private storage. The underfloor heating and cooling in the entire house are controlled by thermostats in each individual room. For hot tap water, each house has a 200-liter cylinder fed by the heat pump. In the area of ventilation too, the highest achievable option was chosen: mechanical balance ventilation with heat recovery, CO₂-metered air supply in all living areas and a recirculating extractor hood in the kitchens. The quality of the chosen techniques and installations not only guarantees optimum energy savings, but also maximum comfort and safety.
