Living
On the side of the Verlengde Voorstraat there will be a new apartment complex, a total of 16 flats in four floors on a parking basement. The parking basement will be built half sunk just like the current basement, the exact depth will have to be determined depending on the soil and water management in the area. In total, there will be space for about 20 cars, with other parking separated in the public area. There is also space for bicycle parking next to the storerooms, the entrance is via a ramp next to the property.

The flats are approx 60 m2 to approx 136 m2 all with spacious balconies. The total height of the building will increase slightly compared to the current building, the current building is now 12m high and in the new situation this will be a maximum of 13.5m, only at the lift there will be an additional elevation, however this is within the height allowed in the zoning plan. The entire building will meet the latest BENG standards and, like the care flats, will be heated with a ground source heat pump. To compensate for the power consumption, solar panels will be placed on the roof out of sight with a total annual output of up to 40,000 kWh, which will be connected to the facilities of the complex itself. The main entrance to the complex will be on Verlengde Voorstraat and the entrance to the car park on the Tappenbeck side.
