The stylish outdoors.

Zeddam is a pretty town located in the middle of the Liemers, not far from the German border. The Oude IJssel is the border between the Liemers and Achterhoek regions. The village, with about 2,650 inhabitants, lies in the lap of the undulating Montferland, between Doetinchem and 's-Heerenberg. Historic country estates, woods, heathland, hills and vast meadow and arable landscapes alternate. Not surprisingly, lovers of nature, space and peace have known how to find this beautiful region unerringly for decades. Tourism has propelled Zeddam forward. It has brought liveliness and produced several good hotels and restaurants. The village, whose history dates back to the 12th century, has an attractive centre around the Gerrit Varwijkplein, where you can get everything a person needs. Zeddam borders directly to the west on the vast Bergherbos forest and to the east on a panoramic meadow landscape. And here you will also find perhaps Zeddam's most beautiful house.
