NSW estate Klein Noordijk.

Perhaps the most charming country estate in the IJssel river basin. Or as Jacobus Craandijk wrote in 1885: 'One of the most beautiful points of the circumference'.

The white-plastered classicist-style house has a magnificent entrance with an elegant canopy. The striking central hall has huge sliding doors on either side. The light flows in abundantly - thanks to unusually large windows. With a generous garden room and a sunny veranda, this country house was meant for endless summers.

Living in history
In 1856, the occupant of Het Grote Noordijk laid the foundation stone. It was to be a country house for her daughter who resided in Deventer during the winter. At the time, it was quite common to add an extra country house for the next generation. Inside - besides all the contemporary luxuries and comforts - there are still plenty of original nineteenth-century style features. Including the still-working bell tower, a bubble board and service rooms on an exciting attic floor.

Four seasons.

Close to historic Deventer with its terraces, medieval streets and authentic shops. Nearby Zutphen and Arnhem also offer an extensive cultural offer. In the immediate vicinity are several golf courses and fine restaurants. The A1 motorway slip road is just a few minutes away by car.
