Your own estate

You come home in style: through a wooded area with lanes and water features, with age-old deciduous trees, with wooded banks and meadows. The stately entrance gate with - remotely operated - wrought-iron gates, leads to the forecourt. There, raised above ground level, is this characteristic country house. Architect Kurt Hamming was given carte blanche. He combined straight lines with rounded arches and playful staircases with sunny outdoor spaces and leafy overhangs. A luxurious, double garage was innovatively co-designed. Also on the site: a thatched tea house dating back to the days when tea was elitist.

When only the very best is good enough

In the design and construction of the generously proportioned villa, nothing was left to chance. For example, the house is equipped with every conceivable high-tech home automation and luxury. Add to this a central vacuum system, underfloor heating, blinds and climate control in the indoor pool. Outside, a sprinkler system offers optimal comfort. Naturally, in keeping with the green surroundings, sustainable, energy-efficient applications have been taken into account. There is a heat pump, solar panels and rainwater is reused for the toilets and washing machine.
Exquisite tranquillity

The ground floor houses a spacious living room and living kitchen with fireplace. You will also find a multifunctional studio with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom - for a live-in child, as a home office or anything else? The basement includes two spacious guest rooms, each with its own bathroom and French windows opening onto the terrace. The heated swimming pool invites for a refreshing dip all year round. Upstairs are a further five (bed) rooms and two luxury bathrooms. Large windows and generous balconies provide every morning - for an unusual experience of nature.
Next to the house - in the curved facade - you will see the electrically operated entrance door to the double garage. Below the garage is a generous hobby room plus a space where a wine cellar can be created.
Hidden among the trees is a 1905 tea house. The tea house has a fireplace and terrace.

Location and surroundings

Doornspijk is located on the northern side of the Veluwe, between Elburg and Nunspeet. Close to the open waters of the Veluwemeer and atmospheric fortified towns. The area is known for its beautiful nature and extensive countryside, ideal for walks and cycle trips. There are excellent public transport connections (train stations in 't Harde and Nunspeet). The A28 motorway takes you quickly to Amersfoort or Utrecht. Within an hour, you can be in Amsterdam, Groningen or Friesland.
