It is one of the five golf courses enriching Vilamoura. The beautiful villa ‘Morning Glory’, designed by architect Clive Batchelor in the traditional style of the southern Portuguese coastal region, rises up at one of the most beautiful locations of Vilamoura, in the heart of the Algarve. Here, you can enjoy the best of everything. Enchanting sunsets, beautiful panoramic views, a cool Atlantic summer breeze, the superior golf course at your feet, broad, fine sandy beaches and the modest luxury of the Vilamoura Marina at only four kilometres distance. The plot of approx. 3,800 m² where Morning Glory is situated has an unparalleled location, directly by the Old Course, the first golf course which was constructed here in 1969. From the villa, the cool grass stretches out before you, surrounded by hundreds of characteristic umbrella trees - a dreamy landscape. The garden is architecturally landscapes, in harmony with the golf course. Fully grown pine and palm trees, cypresses, flower beds filled with exotic plants, ponds at various levels, interconnected by a meandering stream with cascades and a beautifully heated swimming pool. Around the villa are located vast, partially covered terraces of Portuguese mosaic and arched, shaded verandas with white pillars. The whole is maintained with great care and the villa, with its soft yellow walls, French hatches, wrought iron balconies and terracotta tiled roofs has a characteristic, Mediterranean flair.
The interior lives up to what the exterior promises: space, light and modest luxury. For the construction of the villa use was made of the most beautiful and best materials: natural stone flooring, stairs and plinths, oak wood panelling and a lot of attention to details. The layout of the villa is thoughtful and playful. To the left of the entrance hall you will find the living room with a fireplace and patio doors to the terraces and a comfortable library annex workroom. Optionally, it is possible to realise an extra bedroom with a bathroom on the ground floor. In the right wing, there is a modern kitchen diner with many traditional details and adjacent a breakfast area. The spacious dining room also has patio doors to the terrace. The upper floor includes two sleeping suites. The very spacious master bedroom enjoys beautiful light exposure and has patio doors to a large balcony. There is a dressing room and a marble bathroom provided with all possible luxury. The open tower room with a Jacuzzi is accessible from the master bedroom. The spacious second bedroom has an en suite bathroom, wardrobes and a balcony. The villa features a wine cellar/tasting room with a wine store in the wall and a double integral garage with extra work area and a bathroom. The guesthouse connected to the villa includes two bedrooms and a bathroom, of which one bedroom is furnished as a living room with open kitchen. The villa features air conditioning and security. Thanks to the location by the Atlantic Ocean, the Algarve profits from a lovely summery climate, with a cool breeze and clean, dry air. Vilamoura is known for the beautiful sandy beaches ‘Praia da Falesia’ and near nature areas like ‘Ria Formosa’ with its pink flamingos, the sophisticated nightlife around the Marina and the prestigious five star hotels. The Hilton, with its amazing fitness and spa facilities, is located at a five minute walking distance away from Morning Glory. The airport of Faro is accessible by car in only twenty minutes.
