Zeddam is a beautiful town located in the middle of the Liemers, not far from the German border. The Oude IJssel is the border between the Liemers and Achterhoek. The village, with about 2,650 inhabitants, lies in the lap of the undulating Montferland, between Doetinchem and 's-Heerenberg. Historic estates, forest, heathland, hills and vast meadow and arable landscapes alternate. Not surprisingly, lovers of nature, space and tranquility have been able to find this beautiful region flawlessly for decades. Tourism has propelled Zeddam onward.
